Homework for the week!
Monday - No homework
Tuesday - Handwriting letter 'h'. Work on blending sounds word list too. Please note that there are only three booklets of words in total (for the moment). When all three booklets have been ticked off, the child can focus on assigned reading book. I am giving out basic reading books to any child who can confidently blend sounds, and who knows all words on Dolch 1. There is no pressure to race through lists. Every child should work at their own pace.
Wednesday - 5 mins on Dolch List and 'oo' sound in My Sounds Booklet (book, look, cook, wool etc. as opposed to school, pool)
Thursday - 5 mins on Dolch List and Maths worksheet.
Just to let everyone know, the school printer has been broken for the last few days! For anyone waiting on a new Dolch List, I will give them out tomorrow as the printer has been fixed this afternoon.
One last thing. All of the children have used up the gluesticks bought at the beginning of the year. Could I ask that every parent purchases three more gluesticks for their child? We use glue on a regular basis. Thanks a million!
