2. Jolly Phonics Letter Sounds is available for the iPhone as well as Apple's tablet.

3. Mr Thorne Does Phonics – Mr Thorne has a collection of videos on his website that are worth checking out. He also has an app.

4. Hip Hop Hen has released a series of fun "abc learning games".

5. Pocket Phonics for iPad, iPhone.

Pocket Phonics from Apps in My Pocket combines learning letter sounds with letter writing – so you get two for the price of one.
